He went to milk his cows at four in the morning, as he does every day

Jared Blackwelder is a dairy farmer with 32 cows certified organic as milk.

Here’s what he admits: “It was so bright I could barely see it. The walls caught fire right away.” When he returned to the field, he saw them all lying on the ground.

32 of this man’s 150 cows died in one day, and the farmer estimates he lost about $60,000. But he says the loss is more emotional: “It’s not like they were pets, but the ones I’ve been raising personally since I was little. When lightning strikes them, you can no longer use them, it’s very sad ”.
