I offered a pretzel and a cup of coffee to a homeless man

She was at Dunkin’ Donuts when she noticed a homeless man collecting loose change on the side of the road. Finally he got in and started counting his money. She started talking to the man, much to his dismay. He only had a dollar in change, so she decided to offer him coffee and bread from her bag in exchange for his desire to sit down and chat. retain. She realized she had to go back to class after they talked for over an hour. He ordered her to wait and at that moment handed her a message.

I just came across a social experiment where a young woman, well dressed, was left alone on the sidewalk. The majority of viewers took the time to ask her where her parents were and if she needed any help. This identical woman was now wearing dirty, worn clothes and standing in the same place. Lots of people walked by, but no one noticed. Those who did so had looks of displeasure on their faces.

The tragic truth today is this: I wonder when the world will become a place where the greedy will judge others by their looks alone. Or why is the life of the rich more valuable than the life of the poor?

Luckily, someone shows up along the way who shows that not everyone has lost their ability to empathize with the less fortunate, giving us hope all is not lost.

Casey Fischer was on her way to get some coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts during her break from classes when she noticed a homeless man collecting up coins on the side of the road. He then went inside in the aim of purchasing something to eat.

Fisher could see the difference in the man’s hand barely made $1 as she came closer. She then invited him to sit at her table and offered to pay for his coffee and bagel.

Chris introduced himself to Fischer and explained how he was frequently treated unfairly simply because he was homeless.

He admitted to doing drugs, which turned him into the man he despised. What he truly desired in life was to be the son or daughter of his late mother. However, I was unable to do so.

Fischer told Chris she was delighted to meet him and that she had to go since it was time for her to return to class. But then the man ordered her to wait a minute and handed her a crumpled up piece of paper on which he had written something and delivered it to his new acquaintance.

Fischer was taken aback when she read the note. She had no idea that what she done would have such an impact on the homeless man. This meeting meant a lot more to him than just a cup of coffee and a bagel. It had an effect on him.

“Today I wanted to murder myself,” the note stated. “…because of you, I no longer do.” Thank you, lovely lady.”

We’d also like to express our gratitude to this charming young lady. You are the necessary shift for the globe to continue to spin.
