Nine celebrities who spoke out against plastic surgery

Plastic surgery is a personal choice. Pressured to always look perfect, many celebrities usually go to the surgeon to get some work done, be it correcting their nose, correcting cellulite or reducing their wrinkles.

However, not all Hollywood stars are enthusiastic about this idea. In fact, many want to embrace the flaws they have, even if they aren’t the norm.

Many celebrities have been quite open about refusing cosmetic surgery. Here are 9 celebrities who have never worked before and why.

  1. Jennifer Anniston

“I think what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves. I am grateful to learn from their mistakes because I am not injecting anything into my face. They are trying to stop the clock and all you can see is an insecure person who won’t let themselves just age.”

  2. Julianne Moore

“Personally, I’ve not had anything done. My job means too much to me. It’s important to be able to play women at all points in their lives and I don’t like products that freeze your face in time. I need to show expressions.”

  3. Jamie Lee Curtis

“The current trend of fillers and procedures, and this obsession with filtering, and the things that we do to adjust our appearance on Zoom are wiping out generations of beauty. Once you mess with your face, you can’t get it back.”

  4. Emma Thompson

“I’m not fiddling about with myself. We’re in this awful youth-driven thing now where everybody needs to look 30 at 60. This is the law of diminishing returns. The trick is to age honestly and gracefully and make it look great so that everyone looks forward to it.”

  5. Halle Berry

“Aging is natural, and that’s going to happen to all of us. I just want to always look like myself, even if that’s an older version of myself. I think when you do too much of that cosmetic stuff, you become somebody else in a way.”

  6. Heidi Klum

“I’m proud to be able to say, in this day and age, I haven’t done anything. Everyone has a view of what’s not pretty and plastic surgery just doesn’t look pretty to me.”

  7. Drew Barrymore

“I say, don’t fight the rings on the trunk of a tree. Just keep counting ‘em. The idea of not looking like myself scares me. I just think a person’s character is what’s interesting.”

  8. Salma Hayek

“It’s like the uniform of a generation. And it’s not necessarily beautiful. It’s not wrinkled-looking, but it’s not beautiful.”

  9. Meryl Streep
