Gillian Anderson shared on Instagram that she will no longer wear a bra
Gillian Anderson recently posted an Instagram video explaining that she is no longer wearing a bra and has no plans to wear it again. The actress explained, “I don’t care if my boobs reach my belly button. I’m not wearing a bra.”
Anderson has given up underwear forever because she says it’s too uncomfortable and she’s not willing to deal with it anymore.

Anderson’s video was shared on Twitter, and many women are rallying around her, proudly agreeing that they don’t wear bras either.

Other Twitter users shared that although they don’t wear bras, they do wear an alternative undergarment.
I've not wore one for ten years but I do wear a crop top bra they are extremely comfortable and only about a couple of quid or a couple of dollars if you are American so much cheaper than a torture device 🤣

Yet other people feel that it’s unfair to say that a bra is uncomfortable. Some claim that there are actually very comfortable bras out there; you just have to find the right one.
Bra's are not torture! They make super comfy ones!! And some women simply don't have a choice either thru surgery or by nature are just too large to let them hang down, for them not wearing one is torture.

It really is amazing that women took their bra off back in the sixties and started burning them… Oh ya!

Some women are hoping Anderson’s decision to go braless will be the beginning of a larger movement encouraging more women to say goodbye to bras.
