It was his first day of school and he didn’t come with his parents, but with 24 police officers!
September was a very difficult month for young Jackson and his family.
The boy’s father died in early August after sustaining multiple injuries in a car accident. The boy’s father, Justin, was only 39 and a police officer in Amarillo.
Jackson was due to leave on the first day of school, he thought it was going to be a sad day without his father being unable to stay with him any longer, but when he opened the door he woke up with 24 police officers appearing in front of him his house and were waiting to accompany him on his first day of school. The officers were his father’s employees.
When they all arrived at the school, the police officers lined up in the hallway and everyone hugged the little boy before leaving. Jessica, the boy’s mother, said that she was absolutely sure that it was very important for her son to have his father’s classmates with him when the father was no longer able: – They were the second family and they care still,” said the mother.

Officials had a busy day escorting the Jackson brothers through their first day of school, their second and fourth grades respectively.
This touching story shows that despite the death of Jackson’s father, the good deeds he did throughout his life help him stay with his children.
