Apparently when the dandelion root extract is consumed, it works rapidly to fight cancer cells. This is what happened with Di Carlo. In only 48 hours of consuming the tea, the cancer cells start to disintegrate and the body goes to work replacing them with healthy new cells.
In addition to being a potential cure for cancer, other studies have confirmed that the extract contains anti-cancer perks for other types of cancer such as breast, colon, liver, lung and prostate cancer.
And with such powerful ingredients, you can’t expect the tea to taste great, but it’s far better than dealing with the side effects that come along with chemotherapy and radiation.
The thing with these traditional cancer therapies is that they not only kill off the cancer cells, but they kill off the healthy ones too. Dandelion root is the best of both worlds, as it helps boost your immune system and it only wreaks havoc on the unhealthy cells while the healthy cells stay in tact.
The only downfall so far is the fact that the extract can negatively impact the effects of chemotherapy, so if you are already receiving the treatment, it might be a good idea to stop before you start your dandelion root extract routine.
And for those of you who don’t have cancer, dandelion tea offers tons of other perks including fending off diabetes, curing urinary tract infections and boosting your immune system.
One way to down the not-so-delicious taste is to toss some greens or root into your smoothie. It’s a great way to get your vitamins and conceal the harsh taste.
